A: The Isle Of Wight Flying Club serves to bring together all with an aviation interest on the Isle Of Wight and, of course, our aviation minded visitors. We are primarily a social organisation and our members collectively organise the club and its social activities

Q: Are there any subscriptions to pay ?
A: The club charges modest membership subscriptions. Club funds are also supported by donations from members and proceeds from club organised events


Q: What type of social activities do you organise ?
A: Our social activities have included fly-outs, club visits, visiting speakers, fireworks celebrations, mid summer barbeques & hog roasts as well as our annual Christmas Dinner & Dance


Q: Do you have any training facilites ?
A: There are two training schools based at the Isle Of Wight Airport, in Sandown. One teaching fixed wing general aviation aircraft and the other microlights. See our Contact page for further details
